FAQs

I’m interested. What’s the first step?

Get it touch with me via email, call, text, or form, and we’ll find a time for a complimentary consultation when we’ll determine if we’re a good fit.

Where is your office located?

I see clients in person at my office in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, and via telehealth (online), I can see clients who live anywhere in California.

Who are your clients?

I work with all kinds of folks and see individuals from adolescents to adults, couples, and families. I am affirming and welcome everyone from adolescents to adults. Because I am licensed in California, my clients must live in California.

What’s your rate? How long is each session?

My fee is $165 per standard 50-minute session.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

I am able to offer a sliding scale rate to a select number of clients based on financial need. Please reach out for more details.

When and how do I pay?

I accept most credit or debit cards. Once you’re working with me, you’ll have access to the client portal where you can review intake documents for full details on payment and other important practice policies. Please note that all clients are required to keep a credit or debit card on file regardless of their preferred payment method and payment is always collected at the time of service.

What is your cancellation policy?

I hold the weekly time open for you, and consistency is important to the therapeutic process. At the same time, I understand life happens and things come up! If you do need to miss a session, I ask for as much notice as possible. I work to provide the same and will let you know in advance when I am away for scheduled sessions, generally with two weeks’ notice or as early as possible. Please note there will be a full charge for a session not rescheduled or cancelled with at least 24 hours advanced notice.

Do you offer online video (telehealth) sessions?

Yes! I use a confidential and secure HIPAA compliant video software that is user friendly and does not require downloads, logins, or complicated passwords.

Do you take insurance?

I am not in network with any insurance panels, but I can provide a documentation of services to clients who wish to provide this to their insurance companies and retain reimbursement when applicable. This is commonly referred to as a Superbill. Please note that you should contact your insurance company before any sessions to ensure you have a complete understanding of your coverage, reimbursement amounts, deductibles, and any other details. If you have questions about this process, don’t hesitate to ask.

Do you comply with the Federal No-Surprises Act?

Yes. Clients are offered the No-Surprises Act documentation that provides a good faith estimate for expected clinical costs associated with their therapeutic treatment. Learn more about the Federal No-Surprises Act from the California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists by clicking below:
